So, my FH and I are still slowly and loosely planning our DW in Los Cabos for next June 2021. Yes, it's still very, very far away and I know COVID could be either completely in or out of control by then - we will be preparing a Plan B, and C. But...
What I'm struggling with now is booking the major vendors (DJ/music, beauty, florals, etc.). Of course, in a more "normal" world, booking DW vendors 11 months in advance wouldn't probably seem like a big deal but I worry that by booking this far out and giving up 25-50% in deposits per vendor (even with COVID clauses), there's a small (but real) chance vendors could go out of business between now and then and we could lose our $$$.
However, on the flip side of that, I don't want to wait too long with the sheer number of postponements to 2021. Vendors are booking up like crazy and I would hate to not book vendors in time, either.
Any advice is appreciated!
