Blush/ivory gown- what color for bridesmaids?

I think the photo you provided of the blush dress with the blue BM dresses is beautiful. Your dress is definitely bridal. I couldn't imagine that dress in any other setting besides a wedding. I think that times have changed and honestly, I haven't seen a pure white dress in the last 4 or 5 weddings I've attended. Your FH is going to love it. Maybe it wouldn't have been his first choice on the rack because he thinks that brides should dress in all white, but he's going to change his mind when he sees you in it.

Your dress is beautiful! I think it would look great with either the pink or blue. If your FH is asking for blue and that's one of his only opinions, I would try to make that happen. Maybe there's a different shade of blue that you like better with your dress? Also, I wouldn't worry about it not being pure white! The lace detailing stands out so much more with the underlay and in the sunshine it won't look as dark!

My dress was actually the same color, but in some lighting (like the ones it looked mostly ivory! We did a light dusty purple for the girls and navy for the guys. I think your dress looks more champagne than blush, so it's pretty neutral. Beautiful dress by the way!

Your dress still looks bridal and your FH will love it. There's less pressure now to wear a pure white dress; off white still looks white and so do a number of other shades of white. If the dress looks white against your skin tone, even if it's not a pure white on the tag, and you love how it looks on you, wear it!

I have a champagne colored dress and my MOH is wearing Burgundy. I like the color pops though. I agree with you though that Dusty rose would be really pretty. How important is this to you though? What if you put it to a vote with your BM's? Is that an option? That would be a way to settle it without "dismissing" his only opinion

Your dress is gorgeous. my FH wanted me in all white too but hey thats not how it works. My dress underlay is champagne/blush (not quite as noticeable in pictures) My girls are all wearing navy blue and the guys are wearing gray. Our colors are Navy, gray and coral.
