Well, as I proposed to him, it seemed only right.

I spent ages looking at rings but couldn't settle on one. I talked to him, saying it didn't have to be a ring, and he said a necklace would be cool.

When I saw that pendant, I knew that was what I'd been looking for. He likes the Alien films; specifically the xenomorphs. Plus his general taste in art is quite dark and creepy, so I think it's very fitting. He doesn't have it yet though, as I want to give it in person. (We're long distance, which makes things more awkward.)

I like the man-gagement ring.

My husband did a perfect job. I'm not a big jewelry wearer and I wore a very large amethyst ring during my first marriage. Not traditional, not big, not expensive, but totally me.

We got engaged when we were 19. I love how my ring has the little twisting detail- it goes well with my old promise ring ge have me when we were 15. I can't wait to celebrate 10 years of love on our wedding in November

This was my fiancé's great grandmothers ring. We raised the center diamond and added the smaller diamonds around the center. Other than that, everything else is original/antique. It was 100% a surprise and I didn't see it coming lol
