So for my wedding I'm having my bridesmaids pick whatever dress they want, as long as it's black. We're doing a garden ceremony, and I'm having bright flowers to brighten it up--yellows, pinks, oranges. Anyone else doing black bridesmaids dresses?

black will always be classic, but im not sure if it goes with your garden theme, i have been wrong before though, and im sure your girls will appreciate being able to wear it again.

I am also considering black.....as long as there are bright flowers or a color accent you are good to go. consider some color in a statement necklace or earrings. since they are picking their own dress, they could even wear colored shoes or your gift to them could be colored clutch purse to match?

I wanted black but everyone was making such a big deal so I settled for red.

I like the idea of the statement jewelry! I thought about doing colored shoes too, but if it's not everyones style then I don't want them to be stuck with them. I'm definitely doing bright flowers to make up for the dark dresses! And I'm buying the jewelry for them, so that will add more color too.

I'm doing black! I love the idea. One of my bridesmaids said she wouldn't wear it again, so I asked if I could have it!!

My girls are wearing black. I also chose a dress that they could wear again.
