Hey guys. So I have a couple period tracking apps on my phone and of course both of them are counting on me starting my period the day before my wedding. Has anybody had any experience trying to skip their period and if so what kind of BC did you use? And how long had you been taking it? I don't know how this works lol.

Thanks ladies

Ask your doctor (I'd make an appointment now). You can see your regular doctor about it, doesn't have to be an OB/GYN, just make sure you are seen soon. It can take up to 3 months for your body to adjust and be regular.

I'd go to your gyno now. When I first started BC (I was 16) I had heavy spotting for 3 frickin months. 3 MONTHS!!!! Now it's 17 years later.. I've had my tubes tied (diabetes.. No kids) and I still get my period so I'm still in BC, but I take it for 3 months then stop for a week, take it for 3 months and stop. Talk to your gyno asap. Don't forget to ask about having children after you stop taking them. My SIL forgot and they had a little trouble conceiving after.
