Big exit or Small exit?

Beth, on October 16, 2021 at 8:06 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 3

So I was planning to do a Sparklers exit with my family. However there will be alcohol at the wedding so it could be a little bad but my family is really good with fireworks and alcohol mixed (shockingly).

What I am wondering is who did the big exit like that and got the pictures and are glad they did it? Or did you do a small exit and are glad they did that. Or did you do one and regret not doing the opposite? I really don't want to spend $200 on the big sparklers if it isn't really worth it.

TIA

I've done sparklers at 3 weddings now, two of which features alcohol and college friends reunions. There were pretty much zero hiccups with the sparklers, even with the booze, and the pictures were gorgeous for all 3.

This really all comes down to photos- sparkler exits are done for the photo opportunity. And they do create beautiful pictures. You just need to decide if those pictures are worth spending an additional $200 for, plus the time it takes to round everybody up, get them to form lines and get them all sparklers, all for 30 seconds of you walking through a tunnel of sparklers. There’s really no right or wrong answer- it’s just what is important to you personally.
