Beverages

Sydney, on November 3, 2019 at 4:58 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
We are planning our wedding for November of next year, and we are trying to figure out how many drinks to buy. We are thinking about doing water bottles, tea, lemonade, and can sodas. Does anyone have any advice on how to calculate how much to buy for a guest count of 200?

Are you also serving alcoholic beverages? That will make a huge difference.

We are not serving alcohol, but the guest are welcomed to bring their own.

What’s your venue? I’ve never heard of being allowed to bring your own alcohol in.

I would over purchase on drinks, especially water. You absolutely cannot run out of water. You have to assume that everyone will have water and maybe even 1 an hour. I personally would drink that much, especially with dinner and all the dancing. You can run out of lemonade, tea and soda but not water

    Hey there, Sydney!

You could calculate it by taking how many hours the reception will be, and counting how many drinks per hour you believe your guests will consume.

Don't forget to factor in extra soda's if guests will be bringing liquor and need something to mix it with Smiley smile
