Hey all! This seems random, but how do you keep conversation b/w your BM? Group Text? FB messages? FB group? I think because I'm neurotic, I'd like to set up a group...But I also see how that maybe comes off as too controlling lol. Idk I just know I was in a wedding that kept a group message, but I...

Hey all! This seems random, but how do you keep conversation b/w your BM? Group Text? FB messages? FB group? I think because I'm neurotic, I'd like to set up a group...But I also see how that maybe comes off as too controlling lol. Idk I just know I was in a wedding that kept a group message, but I felt like the bride forgot what she had told us and hasn't told us, I didn't have everyone's number, so I didn't know who was who, and I felt like I missed some info. A group seems more substantial in terms of posts and pics, or even a fb message would seem to keep everything better organized too. Just thought I'd see what some of you lovelies are doing!

I had a Facebook Messenger thread going between my BM's and I. It's was the most easy and efficient means of communication between us.

Keep it easy and don't do a secret FB group, because not everyone gets group notifications.

Oh no, I so hate group texts! Hate them...it's super annoying...especially the more people who are involved. I agree with some of pp that suggested a secret FB group or email. Right now, I just separately communicate with the five of them anything that pops in my mind via text. They're my closet/best friends and I have a special relationship with each of them Smiley smile

For the few things on which the bridal party needs to be on the same page, I use email. Otherwise, I text my friends/FSIL individually. Some issues necessitate privacy (e.g. budget, dress sizes, etc.)

We all have a fb group chat - but we also had one before the wedding too.

A friend of mine made a facebook group because some of her BMs are international so this allows them to talk without extra charge on phone plans. It's working well. I only have a MOH so I just text her

When I was a BM, the bride made a secret facebook group to keep us in the loop with dresses and what not. All her BM didn't live around each other although I was the furthest because of college. It was just easier for her to relay messages to us that way instead of doing group texts.

I started with group text but some people would never respond so I switched to Facebook group message which I could then see they saw the message

Put me in the "don't use group texts for anything!" camp. Replies intended for just the sender go to the whole group, and you're getting useless notifications for days. When you really need to communicate (which you should keep to a minimum, anyway), it's not that hard to copy and paste into individual texts or e-mails, and it keeps you from driving your wedding party nuts.

I do group Facebook messages for group things like setting up times to go dress shopping, updates on when the rehearsal is, time frame for day of. Beyond that I've talked to each individually about hair appointments.
