What are some of the best tips you’ve heard/experienced while planning your wedding? For instance; the best advice I got is to put younger people more likely to dance closest to the dance floor to get the party started and also keeping them closest to their tables where they can put their drinks down.

I didn't know people did RSVPs as postcards. My friend told me they're cheaper for stamps

Skipping the favors! I always felt like they were necessary but quickly learned on here that they're not required

Skip favors, skip bathroom toiletries, hire a day of coordinator, don't go cheap on hair + makeup, do notttt stress about the little things because the day of you won't notice/won't matter. Have back up shoes if you're wearing heels, hire a professional DJ.
