Best time of year for a Clearwater, FL wedding?

Jesse, on December 12, 2016 at 7:56 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

Looking to avoid the rainy and humid seasons, but also don't want to be chilly with no sweater on the beach for our ceremony! I tend to get cold under 70 degrees (I have reynauds disease). I've heard that April/ May can be pretty rainy the past few years as the rainy season extends, and February would still meet our temp requirements. Does anyone have any thoughts? Also trying to avoid school vacations - so many things to consider! Any and all details & advise is super appreciated!!

October! I was tanning on the beach last year in March, water was cold but it was still warm and sunny but I think September or October would be perfect

I've been to that general area (Tampa and St. Pete) at several different times, and I found it beautiful in May! I think it was in the 70s, and it was dry when I was there.

I live by Clearwater and definitely October or March for weather. Problem is March is very crowded due to spring breakers.

November is perfect. I live two hours south of Clearwater. October is still in hurricane season. This past October a big hurricane went up the east coast but the Gulf side still got major rain from it. January the past couple years has been cold. February and March are good months too.

I live in south tampa, work over in st Pete and this past fall has been hot, hot, hot! It is still hot. ....and it's December.

September is the wettest month of the year. ( I do farmers markets and we close down for September?due to all of the rain)

I like march, April, end of feb. my bestie got married in march and the weather was spot on awesome.

I booked mine for November in St. Pete. We went for a tour a few weeks ago and the weather was amazing. Perfect for a beach wedding.

Mid to Late Fall or very early spring is your best bet. So October-November or Early March.
