Best shapewear for tummy

Girllllllll, you're just gonna have to try 'em all on! I think there are different "bests" for different body shapes and sizes!

Just kidding. I am a fan of the spanx that is sort of like a dress, but has the built in undies that can unsnap and goes up under your boobs for support. There is probably a fancy name for it but idk what it is.

I have never worn any before, but I just ordered a pair of high waisted spanx that are supposed to hold the tummy in really well! We shall see

Spanx brand is great, but you really should try on various shapes and sizes to fit the best for you. I have two pairs that I use mainly to smooth my tummy/hips area. They both fit differently and "hide" different things based on what I'm wearing on top.

Trial and error. What works for some may not work for you. Gotta get to the store and do the grunt work.

I LOVE my waist trainer, but you have to wear it for a while to get used to it because if you don't you won't be comfortable in it.

It so so depends. On your height, shape, style of your dress, etc. I wanted a hard core waist cincher thing but the backs are all too high on those because I have a very "low-backed" dress. I just ordered the firmest waist-line briefs I could find and am hoping for the best. Spanx are over-priced in my opinion and I've known lots of people who had great luck with things that are less than half the price.

I love Spanx, mine are the old-school super thick shiny ones that reeeally suck me in ribs to knee. Otherwise, I'm intrigued by waist cinchers but suspect they just redistribute the pudge above and below. And I do not need more back or hip pudge!

I always use spanx, but just remember that each spanx is for something different. They have every day, formal, etc. I didn't know this until I was speaking with a sales person.

If you plan on wearing spanx under your dress, I suggest only doing it if you have to! It is really difficult to go to the restroom in a wedding dress, it will be even more so with spanx on. Someone on here pointed that out to me and I'm so thankful that I listened!
