Best Long Lasting Lip Stick/Stain

I'm going with lipsense. Super hard to apply, but doesn't move once it's done.

I used L'Oreal Infallible Pro Last lipstick. It's a 2 step liquid lipstick and it lasts all day. You gotta let the liquid dry most of the way before applying the moisturizing balm , it only takes a few minutes. You can apply and wait for it to dry while doing something else.

Got it for about $6 at target!

I have been experimenting with Anastasia, I got it at Ulta. It holds up for my 10hr work day and its still on when I get home.

Make sure you treat your lips for a few days before using a lip stain or liquid lipstick. Use a sugar scrub (olive oil w/brown sugar or buy one), to exfoliate, then use a good balm throughout the day to treat and prevent any flaking. Use a lip liner first since stains and long wear lipsticks send to feather/bleed. This will also help define your lips more for photos.

My favorite lipstains are Armani's Lip Maestro. However, I prefer the formula and staying power of liquid lipsticks more. Good ones to look at are Huda Beauty's Liquid Matte Lipstick, and Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks

Nyx epic lip dye worked really well for me.

I second Kiera. Most lipsticks dry out my lips, and with the moisturizing balm, my lips were still soft. and it doesn't just wear off! I love it.

I have Lipsense it taste HORID I have tried several and my fav so far is Maybelline super stay 24 color I seriously is easy to put on stays forever and has a matte option or add gloss LOVE IT

I love NYX liquid suede. Just make sure to moisturize and prep before and after. I use a lipscrub and lip balm every night to make sure my lips are ready for the 'abuse' at any time.

Colour Pop makes really great liquid lipsticks! They're affordable too so you can get a lot of shades to try.

As part of my ipsy bag I got one from Tarte - lip paint. I normally hate anything on my lips but I even wore it on my wedding nice and it stayed all day!

Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick. I've worn it in 100+ degree weather for 12 hours and it NEVER budged. It is amazing

I wore a regukar lipstick - I fell in love with NARS Anita lipstick with a $6 NYX lip gloss for a topper.

Hey Loganne, you posted this at the perfect time. I too & am looking for a long wear, stay proof lip color. I've been experimenting with different brands. Currently trying out Maybelline Superstay 24 Liquid Lipstick today. I plan to try Anastasia, L'Oreal, & Stila as well, but haven't found anything that lasts through the day & a meal yet. Have you decided on anything yet?

@Debra I ended up getting Stila! I definitely recommend a liner with it because it can bleed, and make sure you have absolutely nothing on your lips before you put it in on it will not set, but it will stay on at least 6 hours and I love the color. I also got color matched for a smashbox liquid lipstick. I really liked it as well, but they didn't have a color I wanted.

I second (third? maybe fourth?) Lipsense! I like to wear lipstick but everything I used didn't last very long. Now using Lipsense I don't have to touch it up for at least 6 hours if done correctly. It's a little weird once you put it on and put the gloss on since I sorta just slap the gloss on my lips with no rhyme or reason but once it drys, man. I'll stuff my face with different foods and coffee and not even a smudge.

This is what I got and I actually love it. I wanted something cheaper because if I don't wear it again its not a big deal!

I am addicted to Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick. It is cheap, easy to find and it STAYS. It is also super easy to apply. Unlike some of the lip colors that stay, it doesn't start "staying" for like 5 minutes, so if you don't like the way you applied it, you can fix it.
