Best foundation to use?

I also suggest MAC studio fix! As a pale girl myself (I use NC15, the lightest shade available) its the only thing I've found that actually matches my skin color and photographs well. I will say however since its meant to be a dewy finish you may want to set it with powder.

I use Laura Mercier silk crème foundation in rose ivory and its amazing! It leaves a subtle dewy finish that I love and it photographs well and lasts all day.

I like Clinique acne solutions, but as a cheaper alternative Almay Clear Complexion.

I second that Bare Minerals or mineral and/or powder makeup isn't great for a wedding day. It's the same with stage makeup: harsh spotlights and photo flashes can penetrate powder make-up and don't do much for you. I wear mineral makeup every day and appreciate the SPF and coverage, but I wear a foundation with a liquid or cream base (then finish with a powder to set the makeup and control shine) when pictures or other harsh lighting may be involved.
