I have been to David's Bridal twice in a week. Snap shot of each appointment. Trying to figure out the style and length I wanted for my dress.
1st: a few days ago. I explained to the consultant when & where my wedding was, described what I thought was good for the location (rose garden). She never asked any questions except for my size. She pulled 5 dresses that were my street clothes size! I know wedding dresses tend to run small. She didn't stay nearby to help zip the dress or pin the dress. She didn't really say anything. There was no other customer in the store at the time. I left the store not closer to a dress style.
2: today's appointment! My consultant asked questions: day, location, my size, what I was interested in, what I didn't like. She even had a print out of the dresses that I favorited on the site. I told her that I never tried on a ball gown because I didn't want the Disney princess poof but I would try a ball gown on so that I knew if I liked it or not. Consultant was amazing today. I was her only client at the time, she devoted her time to me, she LISTENED. First 2 ball gowns were a no for me but then she pulled a wild card ball gown. I fell in love with the dress, it made me tear up.
I forced myself to stop the bridal moment because of the price of the dress and family situation.
