Best deals for Suit and Tux Rentals?

Mckinzie, on October 12, 2020 at 10:16 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
Hey everyone, I hope planning is going well for all of you! I'm currently trying to plan what my groomsman and FH are going to wear! My FH wants to wear a vest but other than that he doesn't care about style, color, etc. Our wedding color is dusty rose which is what my bridesmaids will be wearing. We're doing a lakeside venue in May. Im trying to find the best deals on rentals as we are paying for our wedding party attire and keeping a budget of 6k for the entire wedding. Can anyone give me any opinions or ideas on attire and where you got the best deals on rentals? Thanks so much!🥰

My husband rented his from men's warehouse for our big wedding. For our minimony I ordered his outfit from JC Penny and it was only $70 for the pants, matching vest as dress shirt. He got his tie from amazon for $10. Below is a picture of the minimony outfit Best deals for Suit and Tux Rentals? 1

We used Men's Warehouse for tux rentals (for my husband, his groomsmen, and both dads) and we were very happy with the quality of the tuxes and the simplicity of the process. Overall it was a great experience. My husband and the groomsmen had vests and the dads had cumberbunds. Each tux cost $200 a piece to rent though, so I'm not sure if that would be in your budget. If that's a concern, then I'd maybe aim for suit rentals or look into a website like the Black Tux

We used Men's Wearhouse as well, but they are HIGHLY dependent on the individual store. Because we got married in NYC, DH looked up reviews and talked to friends to find out which one was the best run, and went out of his way to go to that one.

They still tried to put him in his sister's suit, and then to charge him $400, when he had enough rentals from the party to qualify for a free suit.

We chose generation tux for our wedding. You get the best deal the more groomsmen you have (I think if 5-6 rent, the groom is free). Also, you can buy very affordable suits at Burlington.

Daughter and SIL used BlackTux.com and were VERY happy. SIL had rented from MW for weddings he was in as a GM and had terrible experiences and found them really expensive. I believe the guys paid around $100 for their suit jackets & pants (daughter bought their shirts & ties), and they wore their own black shoes & belt. The suits arrive early (like 10-14 days) and if the guys try them on immediately and notify the company within 48 hours of any issues, they guarantee any needed replacement pieces will arrive on time. SIL's suit was a beautiful custom made suit and in the photos you can't tell the difference between his suit and the GMs' suits.
