Sara, on April 27, 2021 at 3:41 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

Hey ladies! I don't know why I never thought to ask you all on here about this, but I need help finding a bra for my wedding dress with a plunging neckline and an open back. I'm a 34B and I am looking for a little bit of a lift for the girls!

I am in a similar situation...not the plunging back, but can’t find a bra with a deep enough plunge. I’m hoping that my seamstress will be able to see some push-up cups into my dress, but if that doesn’t happen, I’m not afraid to tape! It’s not sexy, but I’ve tried it before and it works haha

This is how my dress is made as well, and I don't plan to wear a bra. Maybe sticky boobs? Or tape. But definitely no legitimate bra!

Hi MK! I was checking out the Misses Kisses bra which is crazy priced but might be my only hope!

Christy, I haven't tried taping before and I might ask my seamstress the same thing for the push up cups

I’ve heard good things about therabbitbra.com for lift with a backless dress.

Depending on what your dress looks like at the top these will give you a little lift and they work great. I had to cut mine a bit to make sure they couldn’t be seen but love them. Best bra for a wedding dress with a plunging neckline and an open back 1

I have the opposite issue, live very large for my body type. I've been worried about a bra as well but my seamstress insisted I won't need one once she is done with my dress. Check with your seamstress to see if a bra is some you need to buy. I would assume if any alternations are needed they will be able to help with the bra thing

I see someone already suggested, but just wanted to give you my honest opinion.
The misses kisses bra is honestly really good. I got the medium plunge and even when I sit it’s not uncomfortable. Truely makes a difference too.

Hi Sara! I'm a 34B as well and also have a dress with an open back and plunging neckline. My seamstress is sewing cups into my dress, which is adding the lift I'm looking for. She had me try the cups with my dress during my last alterations appointment, and it worked out beautifully! They fit with the dress so naturally, are very comfortable, and provide the exact amount of lift I was looking for. Definitely something to ask your seamstress about Smiley smile It wasn't very expensive either.
