BEER - Keg, bottles or cans??

The time is quickly approaching to purchase beer for the wedding! Just curious what route people are going?? Renting a Keg, purchasing cans or bottles? For a wedding of 160 just curious what my best options are?

We are doing kegs and bottles of wine. We also are ordering customized glasses from exclusively weddings.

We are going for cans just because i was told by the venue as more hygienic than the Keg,and the venue will actually serve it in a glass, but i agree with Patricia Keg is the most economical option and bottles do look nicer than the cans

We're getting a couple of kegs to supplement the venue's beer & wine package.

We decided to go with bottles (or cans if we have to, but likely not). The only reason we decided no to a keg was because we didn't want to waste that beer if there was leftover. We can take the bottled beer home with us. HAHA

    Priorities.

If you want to go with kegs but want more variety, You can get a half keg (pony keg) at bevmo!

If the keg is hidden and you have bartenders, go for the keg.

if keg would be visible, go for bottles and provide Koozies if you're worried about the glass

Kegs. Someone mentioned that kegs might not match the venue, but its not going to be a college kegger with kegs and kegstands int he middle of the dance floor! lol (or is it...)

The kegs will be behind the bar for the bartender to serve.

You may waste beer with a keg (we did) but it is still more economical. I wouldnt want glass bottles on the dance floor.

Yeah - I should clarify that we haven't priced out beer yet. So we could end up with a keg (behind the bar, hidden). But we will likely splurge on bottles (or cans) because we want more variety.

This is the ONE thing FH has been worried about since we picked our caterer. He cares about nothing else. LOL
