Bed Bath and Beyond Registry

AnnieL, on February 12, 2017 at 1:20 AM Posted in Planning 0 5

This is probably the stupidest question in the world. But Google is no help and neither is the BB&B FAQ site. Someone purchased a gift off our registry and we received it in the mail...but I have absolutely no idea who sent it. No packing slip or card or anything, just the gift in its store packing. Please tell me I'm being dumb and there's an easy way to see this. I need to know who gets the thank you card...

Following because I have a BB&B registry and saw that someone bought a gift off our registry but I have no idea who it was. Now granted the gift hasn't been mailed to me but I cannot view who sent it as far as I have been able to figure out. If there is a way to know this I would like to know too! But as far as I know I don't think you can.

I would call a store or maybe if they have a Customer Service number - I guarantee they can look it up.

If they don't give out the info, how do I know who to write the thank you for?? We received one other one and the only reason I knew who sent it is that they asked if we got it.. lol. But it's kinda inconvenient to not know. I guess I didn't think about this beforehand. I love the gift and I just wanna be able to thank them!

ETA: I guess I will have to resort to calling each time this happens or hope someone sneaks out who got it!

Bed Bath and Beyond does give people who order off the registry the option to include a note to the couple. I got this one the other day from FBIL and his family and it was printed on the back of the packing slip, which was attached to the return shipping label and form for returns.

The thing is, it's completely up to the guests to choose to include a note and "sign" their names. If they forget to do it, you're not going to get it. I don't think we got a note from my parents when they ordered flatware off our BBB registry and I assume it's because my mom didn't fill it out. I knew it was from my parents, though, because I opened a card at my hometown shower with a picture of the flatware that they had shipped to where I live.

I received a registry item from BBB the other day and it was at the bottom of the packing slip.
