Beach wedding dress

Hey ladies! I’m new to the app so I hope I’m doing this correctly. I have a beach wedding in June 2020 and I think I’ve found my dress but I’m worried it will be to big or hot/sweaty to be on the beach in Texas mid summer. Has anyone else had this issue or have any advice? Thanks!

Omgosh, this is random, but a cathedral veil with that dress would look amazing!! Very beautiful dress!

I'm sure it will still be pretty outdoors under the shade! My parents live in Dallas and I went to college in San Antonio. I remember driving to Houston with my friends and just being covered in sweat coming out of the car, but that's just cause my body isn't used to the humidity.

My FH and I went to his step-sisters wedding in Michigan this last summer and the ceremony was outdoors and reception was technically indoors, but it didn't have AC! It was so hot and extremely humid! Surprisingly the bride said the weather wasn't phasing her at all, and she had a dress that looked similar to yours - ballgown. Very poofy too! Since your dress is flowy and light the weather might not even be an issue because you'll be enjoying being married!

I’m from Texas and I was worried about the same thing! Now My wedding is in San Diego and still have the same concerns. What I found was a lighter weight material was best. I think your cut and sleeves are perfect because it allows air flow. Gorgeous gown!

Thank you Grace! I hope so! It’s all tulle and lace so it shouldn’t be to bad an removable sleeves!

That is very true! Thank you for sharing that with me, I hadn’t considered it with everything else going on planning wise, maybe I won’t even notice!
