Beach wedding attire for groom!

When we initially planned a beach wedding we agreed fiance and his groomsman could wear casual attire for the wedding (khakis/white button up etc) well now ive changetd my mind lol. I love my dress and don't want him looking like he's just walking on the beach. Having the groomsmen rent a tux is a no go. Would it look awful if the groom wore something nicer/different from the groomsmen?

I've seen several photos where the groom is wearing like a khaki colored vest or a khaki jacket to stand out a little from the groomsmen

The BM and the Groom wore the same suit for our beach wedding, they had different bouts though. This is what my H wore

Here's some Pinterest inspo. Look up beach wedding groomsmen on Pinterest, a lot of the grooms are dressed a little nicer.

Yea that's another thing, even though the actual ceremony will only last 15 or so minutes it's in june.. on the beach. It'll be warm for sure lol

We are having a beach wedding in 2 weeks. I'm wearing a wedding dress and this is what he's wearing.

We are having ours on Maui. He originally said shorts and a white button down but now he wants to do a light colored sport coat and light slacks with a white button down and no tie.
A vest is a good compromise for heat.

My fiance is going to wear a gray suit with no tie. I think it will be a good balance of style and formality without being too impractical for the beach

You can dress it up by adding a best and tie to what you were already planning on.
