Beach Photographer??

Hey ladies!
I’m getting married on the beach in NC in September, and I’ve been going crazy trying to pick a photographer. I’m between two right now... one is newer and does some really nice beach photos, and she’s actually doing a coworker of mines wedding as well.
The other, though, is just everything. I LOVE every single photo she takes, like everything. BUT, She hasn’t ever done a beach wedding.
So my question is, how important is it for my photographer to have actually shot a wedding on the beach? Help please!

Hmm that's hard! You may just need to reach out to the photographer who hasn't done beach shoots and ask their thoughts on it &how comfortable/ confident they are. Beach photos can be tricky because you have to stay on top of your camera settings with the bright sun and wind. I've seen dozens of photographers who take breathtaking beach pictures, so it's a skill that's learned & can be done!

Hey Brook I too would recommend addressing your concerns with the photographer who doesn't have a lot of beach photography experience. You can explain that you love her work, but talk through your reservation. Giving her an opportunity to address should make it easier to make a decision. Is this something you would be comfortable doing?
