Beach ceremony: Arbor or no arbor?

I know I've been MIA for like the last month and a half between holidays, graduating, moving, and job hunting (I have a second interview for a mental health worker position on Tuesday!), but I need opinions. I keep going back and forth on whether I want an arbor for our beach ceremony. Pictures with and without all look so pretty and I can't decide so what do you all think?

I personally would do it without just because to me it's distracting from the natural beauty of the ocean. I do think they are pretty though, it just depends on the feel of your wedding.

If you can decorate your arch/arbor/canopy to look tropical beachy instead of garden-y, I think that would look better.

Is your venue providing the arbor or would this all be DIY?

If it's DIY, then logistics of bringing, setting-up, decorating, and taking down come into play. If it's something the venue takes care of, then I'd say go for it! I love the way simple arbors look on beach settings.
