I am torn between what we want to serve our guest. Our wedding is all outdoors under big trees with moss hanging off. The dance floor is under market lights and all the trees surrounding are wrapped in lights. So my question is would it be tacky to serve Smoked Beef Brisket via Carving station...

Pulled BBQ pork

Flame Grilled BBQ chicken

Gourmet Mac & Cheese

Red skin potato salad

Cole slaw( which I'm gonna ask to substitute)

Garlic rolls

Or should we go more traditional beef, chicken etc?

I'm having bbq. The meat is brisket and sausage and we pick out the sides at the end of this month. We have tons of options for sides. As our veggie option, we are doing grilled fish.

Oh I love the hanging moss and twinkle lights! Sounds like it's going to be beautiful! We had BBQ at our wedding and it was a HUGE hit! People are still talking about the food to us...Seriously

Another BBQ bride here, in fact I chose my particular vendor because of his brisket, it's freaking amazing! So, yeah, I'll have to say I don't think it's "tacky"
