We had a fantastic bridal shower thrown by FH's family (mostly my FMIL). The food was delicious, the decorations were fantastic, and it was a lovely day! A couples shower was so fun!

My MOH just asked me if I wanted a regular shower or a couples shower. i told her regular bc FH probably wanted no part in this. Did you have a regular shower too? Are you glad you did the couples one?

So FH's family lives pretty far from us, so FMIL offered to throw a small intimate family shower in their home town. She wanted to include both of us and FH agreed to come. I am really glad we did a couples shower because FH rarely gets to see his extended family and uncles and cousins came too! He ended up having a great time getting to catch up with everyone. My cousin/MOH is throwing me a shower in my hometown with my family, but FH opted not to join me for that one. If that helps! lol
