Ok. So I'll attach pictures but I have a sketch for my custom wedding band 😁 My question is, the middle pear shapped stone, should it be a diamond or a Ruby (that's my FH birthstone)? We were considering incorporating my birthstone into his ring as well. I honestly can't decide.

I’m personally not a fan of diamonds, but you’re the one that’s going to be wearing it everyday so get what makes you happy.

I am a fan of stones other than diamonds. My engagement ring is an emerald as it is FH birthstone and I love the fact it is unique and has more meaning.

This looks awesome! Have you spoken with a jeweler and got their opinion? Perhaps they may have another ruby ring you could hold up against it to get an idea of how it would look side by side!
