Alrighty ladies.... This is going to be both picture- and word heavy. But I'll try to keep it separate for those who chose not to read- do not have to.

And the one toast I could have lived without- where my dearest brother called me a pain in his ass- you can tell he's very intent on giving a good toast here- his face is "serious face" in this picture. Poor kid.
This BAM gives me all types of feels! You are gorg and thanks for giving us an honest look into your life and wedding day! And yaassss to that colored dress! Lol
It's very traditional to have a bellydancer at weddings- and as I am one- but wasn't going to perform at my event (because weird/tacky/odd/stressful/insertadjectivehere)- I hired my friend.
The tardis cake and this beautiful woman were my only "friendors".
none essentials and VERY dear friends. No fall out if things didn't work out- and I had complete faith in both of them. The Tardis fell a little short (even she said so) but whatever- she's making us an anniversary cake next year to make up for it LOL) - and I knew the dancing would be superb as I dance with her almost daily.
Jo! I read every single word and I've seen every picture so far. I got emotional seeing your pic of you looking at your hubs while walking down the stairs. You just look SO HAPPY. You're gorgeous and your wedding looked absolutely beautiful. That venue! Oh my, I could go on and on. Congrats!
Read the whole thing! You look gorgeous, and Pixie did a great job capturing everything. Your venue looks fantastic! With every picture, I kept trying to decide which space was my favorite, and I can't choose. Congrats!
This is everything! You are beautiful, your family is beautiful, your wedding was beautiful, and your marriage will be beautiful! I can't even deal with this right now.
Lord Jo, This is all so beautiful that I have no words! Okay, I do have words. You are stunning! When looking at your pictures, I could feel your happiness, your love for your DH and your joy at seeing Celia there. I could feel the comfort she gave you. That is one hell of a photographer who can do that through pictures! Congratulations!
Celia- YES- and thank you- truly you made our day. If any one has any doubts- hire the best- and hire Celia- she was a steafast rock through ALL of my engagement and made my cermeony truly memorable.
I will forever cherish those 5 minutes sitting in the steep hallway talking to her before left.
@Tiffany- 32 guests invited- 29 guests attended- and 3 left just before dinner (My VA family- Jacob is Autistic- so many hours wasn't going to work- no harm- no foul- understood- and not surprised- was happy they could make it at all).
it felt warm and welcoming and fun. The space made a huge difference.
@BlueHenBride- everything but the ArtFactory took place at the same venue- which was truly special- it was a "mansion" wiht a ballroom, a library and then the atrium- so we had the ceremony in the ballroom- then reception in the atrium -and then dinner in the ball room.
My only regret would have been the awkward transition between dinner and cake- and the dancer- we should have just put the cake in the library- but we wound up moving literally EVERYONE into the ballroom for cake cutting and akward toast.
Really that was the only logistical snaffu that happened (and my dancer friend was a wee bit late) but I mean- if you only have 25 people getting up and moving- well- not a crisis. If it was 225- it would have been a MUCH Bigger issue.
