I got married on Sunday and it was magical. We got our professional sneak peeks back yesterday. I was going to write a more detailed recap, but I have so much to say that it would go on forever! I'll just share some of my favorite pics so far.
Getting ready. I don't know the first thing about doing my own hair and makeup, so I hired a pro team who did an incredible job.
We were engaged so long that my gown became my "something old." Here is my mom and sister helping button it up. They were both incredibly helpful and happy all day, especially my big sis – we couldn't have done it without her.
Our ceremony altar. I wanted some origami decorations, but my family went above and beyond bringing the idea to life -- they spent two years working together to fold and string hundreds of pieces. We also had origami around the reception, including the place cards and in the centerpieces.
More shots of our ceremony. We were so worried it would rain, but at the last minute, the skies cleared and it became 80 degrees and sunny.
I gained a husband, but I also gained 27 more first cousins! This isn't even all of them...
The dip-kiss! My shoes were my "something blue."
We opted not to have a first dance, but we did a fake one for our photographer/videographer.
Horah chair dance. Husband was scared for his life, but I had fun!
Next month will be my parents' 40th anniversary, so the DJ played a slow dance for them. They both cried during this.
Mr. and Mrs. 🤍💙
