Ballgown bustle????

My dress is Demetrios 545 I can't get this app to load a photo.

I went back and forth on what to do...but ultimately I bustled (French Bustle)

I just couldn't cut off the train, it was too beautiful lol. Not a HUGE fan of the bustle, but I didn't want to give up my train.

I ended up bustling my dress after the ceremony and I loved it. It was easy for my friend to do, it looked great and it stayed really well. I didn't have to think about it the rest of the day.

Three american bustles for my epic train

I did a normal bustle, 3 over & 2 under. Wish I had a readily accessible pic from the reception but this is from my last fitting. My seamstress used the tiny loops & ribbon and everything held quite nicely all evening.

MnDex Your bustle is perfection!!! I have a ball gown not sure what kind of bustle to do yet. eek!

Obviously this is not me, and my dress is white, not ivory...wish I had a better pic, but I don't have any of the pictures of me wearing it...

Removing train--I'm short and it was way too much skirt for me. I did have to argue with my seamstress a few times, but I'm so happy to not have to deal with bustling.

Bustle! I think... I'll know for sure this weekend when I have my first fitting!
