Ball gown fluff without hoop petticoat

Jaiy, on October 9, 2020 at 5:50 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
Hey everyone, I hope planning is going smooth from here on out for everyone. I wanted to know if anyone knows if there is a way to get the ball gown fluff and flare without a hoop petticoat. I just hate the thought of hoops and how it might be to sit or move around in it. I am getting a ball gown and want it to be like a princess flare but not super huge. Please help.

You should be able to get a ballgown petticoat that will have a bunch of layers of tulle that give you the fullness you're looking for. I actually opted for an a-line petticoat under my ballgown, because I didn't want it to be quite as full, but they gave the option of the fuller dress.

Get a petticoat of crinoline, stiff netting ( not tulle) and sewn for the shape of a small or medium ball gown.

I would at least try on a hoop. It’s sooo much cooler and more comfortable than a petticoat. I originally had a petticoat that came with my dress but it was so hot.

You can go with a crinoline petticoat instead but like Lorraine said, it gets hot underneath all that tulle / crinoline!!
