My fiancé and I just moved our wedding into the backyard of my maid of honor/bridesmaid's house. Wedding is in about two months. Quick, what do I need to know haha???

Three things I would focus on: rentals (dance floor, bathrooms, lighting, tables), how will you set up sound equipment, where will people park?

I concur with the PP. I changed my June wedding from a regular venue to a backyard in about 30 days. Luckily we had a very small wedding (37 people including us) and lots of on street parking. Make sure you contact the neighbors and let them know, mostly out of respect; we didn’t have any issues. Good luck. I ended up being so grateful for our backyard wedding, it was perfect!

I got married in my backyard on June 27 (also COVID plan B) and it was great!! Absolutely let your neighbors know what you are doing. Ours were so sweet and even offered their driveways up for extra parking places. We also asked for about 30 mins of quiet time (no yard work, power tools, loud music, etc) for our ceremony, which people totally understood and didn’t have a problem with! We jazzed up our yard with a lot of lights, which can make all the difference so start thinking about a power source! If you don’t have any source of power outside, consider using solar lights! Think
about how/where you’ll want food and drinks to be served. I live in TN where it’s hot hot hot, so instead of programs we had hand fans made which were a big hit and helped keep people cool. We were hoping against hope we could avoid the extra expense of renting a tent and the weather would cooperate and luckily it did, but I would be cautious of that. Honestly, it was so nice to have total control over the space and feel like we could truly so whatever we wanted. Good luck! It will be beautiful!!
