Back on the journey

Lynne, on January 19, 2020 at 3:55 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 4

I have not stepped foot into the gym I normally go to since October. Until this morning. It felt great to get back into working out.

Before November I had lost a total of 20 pounds, but over the holidays, I did gain 7 back. I know it isn't much but it was depressing for me. I decided it was time to get my butt back to the gym. So today, I grabbed my cousin and off we went. My cousin, has multiple disabilities and he enjoys going. He really loves getting a massage afterwards. So today we enjoyed a 30 minute workout then we got to enjoy a 10 minute hydromassage.

The main reason for this post is that I was not feeling it. Planning the wedding that is. Because my weight started to go back up. Even my eating habits never changed, I still drink lots of water. But the part that helped with my weight loss was the exercise. With getting back into workouts, I know my weight will start to come off again. I am so looking forward to the results and that I will be comfortable and happy again to get back into planning my wedding.

Good for you! I know I slacked off during the holidays and just got back into it. It feels great but has been hard getting back into the swing of things!

That’s wonderful, Lynne! I completely get where you’re coming from. I need the endorphins I get from working out so much to keep me motivated! If I haven't been in a while I tend to feel down.
