The day went by so fast and was a whirlwind, but all I can remember from the moment I walked down the aisle was how happy I was. It literally is the happiest day of your life! Advice for how to save money is to find a classic looking venue, go minimal on decor and focus on food, music and booze. I did my own hair and makeup and we made a diy photobooth. I also made my bouquet of fake flowers and used baby's breath in simple white vases around venue. You and hubby will barely have time to yourselves, but you'll have a lifetime together after. I felt like I barely got to interact with most guests and was glad I made rounds during dinner to say hi. I was also happy I didn't have an unplugged ceremony, because I wouldn't have gotten candid gems like this one. I'd also suggest do a budget rehearsal dinner, we did our first date spot, mellow mushroom for pizzas and beer. We joke how nothing has changed after marriage, it won't, you relationship is what you make it from day one, but the wedding celebration was worth it and was one of the most fun nights of our lives!
