OK so I have a stituation. My sister won't be in town until july 17th. I do not want to have my Bachelorette with out her so thinking of having it the night before at the hotel I'll be staying at before and after the wedding and it's in town. We are most likely going to do dinner and get spa service...

We are most likely going to do dinner and get spa service to come to hotel then call it a early night at least by 10/11pm...So I can be in bed no later then mid night and that way I can get up in time to get ready for the Big day! Ceremony is at 4pm.

Has anyone done this ? Did you feel super tired ? I'm not planning on drinking to much especially if I'm having party night before lol

I didn't have bachelorette party because I'm really not a fan of that stuff. The night before my wedding we had the rehearsal dinner and then my 3 bridesmaids slept over in my hotel room so we would be together for getting ready the next day. We didn't do anything crazy, just talked all night and went to bed. It was really nice. Make sure you get enough sleep, weddings are longgg days

Probably not the best idea. Even if you end up not drinking, theres a lot of last minute stuff you can be doing the day/night before your wedding. I wouldn't want to have my BP the night before just for the simple fact I wouldn't be able to enjoy it because I would be too worried about last minute wedding details.

I am going for drinks with my sister in laws and fh's brothers. It will be the only opportunity for the 6 of us as I'll already be in Ottawa when they get to town.

I think that would work as long as you're having a low key night!

Actually......... the last two weddings I was in, we did dinner and drinks the night before for the same reasons you'd like to. We were fine the next day. I think it's best to know yourself and your girls. For both sets of weddings, we were all drinkers and understood that the next day was important. Keeping that in mind, no one drank beyond the buzz limit.

Whenever I go out (for ANY occasion) I limit myself to 2 drinks. If you know you can stick to a similar drink maximum then go for it. It sounds like you're planning a pretty mellow bachelorette party anyway (spa day sounds amazing!). If it's just dinner with a couple drinks then go for it. Get yourselves to bed by 11:00 and you'll be fine! It's all about knowing yourself and your bridal party. With me and my girls I would totally do it. If this were my older sister and her girls I would give her a hard no lol. Oh and last bit of advice, if you end up doing the spa the day before DO NOT get a facial or eyebrow wax! Stick to a massage and nails! You don't want your skin to be irritated the next day! Smiley smile

Bachelorette party for me is going to be in March. Wedding in April. I didn't want to be tired or hungover at the wedding.

I would not recommend it. As others have said it can always turn pretty dangerous.
