I just need to jump on my soapbox for a minute...please understand I am extremely grateful for my friends and their time. I was asked 8 months ago about my ideal bachelorette party..including a party bus, dinner, wine bar, than end it at mini golf and cake/coffee. I have been so excited. However...

I was asked 8 months ago about my ideal bachelorette party..including a party bus, dinner, wine bar, than end it at mini golf and cake/coffee. I have been so excited. However once I brought up how much I'm looking forward to the party bus and crazy night, he looked at me with a weird face. He told me that honey it's not like that all . I again thought he was joking and he wasn't . This bachelorette party is only once . I was told to dress comfortably ...we will be home by 9pm. He is not the kind that jokes or holds back on the truth ( if this was a joke). He asked me if I would like him to reach out to the group (it's been a secret from me) especially to the main one planning and being honest with them. There's no dinner. This isn't about money as the group are all comfortable. I just am in shock, like they do not know me.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?? I completely understand it's just a bachelorette party but I'm just in shock.
Thank you so much for listing to my rant!

I agree with Melle. The original poster needs to count her blessings.

I would ask what to wear to the bridal party directly if you heard it from FH. Otherwise let this go. Maybe it will be amazing, maybe it will be just a regular night, but either way you have friends taking time and spending money to celebrate you.

It was nice of them to ask what you wanted, but it seems like they decided that wasn't the right option for them as hosts. Oh well. I would just count your blessings.
Due to covid, I will no longer be having a bachelorette party. And honestly I'm not disappointed because I had zero expectations for my girls. We have our whole lives to celebrate things. Idk it just doesn't bother me

I would wait until the party actually happens before you decide if you are letdown or not. With this mindset ahead of time, you are far less likely to have fun and enjoy what your friends planned for you.
