Bachelorette party ideas

Ashley, on February 20, 2021 at 2:35 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 15
Hi everybody so I’m the bride and my bridesmaids have no clue what to do for my bachelorette party because I do not drink or smoke. Any suggestions?

What are your interests? There's axe throwing, smash rooms, escape rooms, arcades, casinos, spa days, pool party's. The list is endless you don't need alcohol and drugs to have a good time. Just stay in watch some movies play some games and eat a bunch of snacks.

I’m a big foodie and i definitely need a spa day. But most of the time all I do is paint or read

Then I would let them know what you just said. If I was one of your bridesmaids I'd probably plan a nice spa day, then a relaxing evening paint night with your favorite snacks

I love all of Alyssa's ideas! As an additional one, high tea is really great if you want something a little special and fancy (and super tasty). You can easily just skip on the champagne aspect and just enjoys the food, tea, and atmosphere.

I’ve been to spa parties which were more fun than any of the “drinking” bashes!

I’m right with you- I don’t drink or smoke either so the bar thing is definitely out. There’s a place in north Scottsdale (AZ) that we’re going to go make our own candles. While they’re cooling, we’re going to go have dinner. While we’re having dessert we will have a lingerie party. Pick up our candles & be home by 9. I just want a relaxing evening with my ladies!

Anything you want. Spa day, painting, dinner or desserts, whatever fits your interests.

Spa day! That would be my first choice. Fancy brunch would be lovely. A night out on a boardwalk if you guys have one--music, ice cream, ferris wheels, but no alc. So many options

I don't drink or smoke, and I'm a big nerd.

My BP wanted to take me to the Ren Faire, but the dates didn't work (I usually worked weekends), so they took me to Medieval Times, instead!

Ren Faires, movie nights, spa days, game nights, and so on are all good choices.

Evening 2-3 hours at a restaurant either a show, or a piano bar. Dinner and a comedy club, or theatre and a midnite snack. Go to a lakefront park or beach, swimming, canoe or bycycle pedal boat rental. If you do it nearby with little travel cost, a night or two at someone's cottage. play bridge or poker, or make jewelry, something other than sitting around drinking. Camp near hiking trails, and get u early and go to a peak or special place. I have been to 2 I never would have thought of, an afternoon on a large sailboat off the cost of Maine. And a river cruise.
Ferry to an island for a day. It is supposed to be a last time out as a single person, with friends. If what you usually do is not barhop and drink and pass around sexually obcene things, why do it for a last afternoon, evening, or overnight?

Spa day!!! Or just a nice brunch and pedicures, or dinner and movie. It doesn't need to by a drunken blowout or anything Smiley smile Just do whatever you normally like to do with your friends.

If you communicate with your bridesmaids early on, I'm sure they'll accommodate. There are plenty of things you can do that don't involve alcohol: spa days, mini golf, fitness/yoga classes, cooking classes, pottery painting, etc. I'm sort of in the same situation, as I have a bridesmaid (my sister) who doesn't drink. We're thinking about a weekend getaway, so I'm planning to talk with one of my other bridesmaids, the one I'm putting in charge of games, to look for some non-drinking games.
