Bachelorette Party Ideas in mi

LukiLauren, on January 27, 2020 at 9:29 AM Posted in Michigan Planning 0 8

Hello All!

I am looking into some bachelorette party ideas. I have 1 girl that is under 21 and am trying to think of the best way to do it. I would like to make a day of it. I was thinking of doing a wine and sign type thing with some dinner and then head to the house for some games and such then heading out to a bar.

Any recommendations are much appreciated!

I think wine & paint plus dinner is a great idea. Most places will allow you to book a private party and choose your painting, or you can just book a group during an open event. Another option would be a spa day, either DIY at home or if it's affordable for everyone you could all go to a spa together. Do you have anything in your area like a Dave & Busters, big arcade, or place with escape rooms? Any of those could be fun too. I also have an under 21 in my bridal party, so I know it's a bit of a challenge Smiley laugh We are most likely doing Disney World and going out at night, but I live in Orlando so Disney is pretty doable for everyone.

I was trying to think of something to incorporate her with everyone else, which is why I was thinking that if we went out later and if she couldn't go at least we spent the day with her so she doesn't feel left out. I planned to have everyone meet me at a bar or somewhere like that later to celebrate

I’m under 21 and so is my MOH. We plan on doing an escape room, go out to eat downtown, go home and let the other’s drink

I love the wine and paint idea! We did that for one of my friend's bachelorette's and it was a fun time.

Have you ever been up to Traverse City or Glen Arbor? They have a ton of options, such as DIY sign shops, wineries, water activities, fruit picking, festivals, and what not. I used to spend my summers up there, and recommend it every chance I can! Smiley smile

I have not but have always wanted to! The only issue I see is that I have 1 girl under 21 so I am not sure how that would work.

You can always plan a weekend getaway up to TC, but only have drinks at the place you are staying at! That way you can have a fun weekend doing cool stuff, but then have mimosas at breakfast, or a glass of wine during games later in the evenings.

I was under 21 at both of my SILs bachelorette parties. I still went out with them, but never had a drink. I DDed, but everyone in the bridal parties always included me in everything we did. I would talk with the under 21 girl and make sure she knows what to expect, but then you also should ask what her boundaries are. You can keep things legal, but still have a fun weekend!

Not sure where you are in Michigan, but what about going to lake michigan or lake st clair/lake erie and renting a boat for the day?

Not sure what’s available in your area, but I went to a drag bingo event once with a group of girls and it was a TON of fun. No alcohol required.
