Bachelorette Party ideas for March, driving distance from Long Island ny / nyc

I am the maid of honor for my cousin's wedding in May 2021, and the matron of honor and I are planning a bachelorette party for her. We live on Long Island NY and some guests are afraid of travelling by plane because of recent events... aka corona lol. We are thinking about going the last weekend in March for a 3 day weekend, so we don't want to go to somewhere too cold unless were doing wintery activities. The bride wants a place where we can bar hop, go to wineries, eat good food, and just have fun. She's not a big gambling girl so that's not an option. We were thinking Portland Maine, but we ruled it out because its going to be freezing in March. If anyone knows any cool places to go in March for a Bachelorette party, I would love your input!

    Watkins Glen on Seneca Lake and the general finger lakes region is a great place. My mother lives on Lake Ontario, so we drive through there all the time. There's lots of wineries, cute towns to bar hop and it's driving distance from NYC. It should be about a five hour drive. Plus, it's in state, so no need to worry about crossing state lines.

    Have you thought about Cooperstown?

    Everyone knows it as the Baseball town, but it's got a lot of breweries, lakes, it's in the mountains, and it's actually a really pretty, sweet, TINY tourist town.

    I love Portland, but agree that March will probably still be chilly!

    What about doing wineries in the Catskills? That's not too far and there are tons of bars, restaurants, and vineyards! 🍷
