Bachelorette Party Help!

Shelby, on July 13, 2018 at 12:40 PM Posted in Planning 0 17
My girls are planning my party and have asked me to come up with a few ideas of what I’d like. I honestly don’t even know. What did you/do you have planned? Do you wish you would’ve done something different?

I thoight I wanted something more wild (we’re all 25-27) but now I’m leaning towards eating at a winery, bar hopping that night, and brunch the next morning.

My bachelorette party was themed which was kind of fun. It was Speakeasy themed so we were dressed up in flapper dresses, etc. We went to eat at a Speakeasy themed restaurant and then went to a drag show.

some ideas are comedy club, dueling piano bar, and canvas painting + wine.

I'm going to Cedar Point, one of THE BEST (In my not so humble opinion) amusement parks there is! I love Cedar Point and I thought it would be an awesome way to spend the day. We also are getting a hotel room/cabin for the night so after we're done at the park we can drink and do classic bachelorette party shenannigans.

I've also heard of people renting a house and doing stuff there, or going to a lake for the day, renting a boat. Or just having a campfire at someone's house and make it a big party!

Some ideas are paint & pour (a lot of these places let you BYOB so that is pretty cool), an escape room, or a day trip to a nearby city

I didn't want a wild night out, so we opted for a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. We plan to go to Topgolf and hang out, have some drinks, play golf and eat. Really casual but still fun. My MOH is only 20, so she couldn't bar hop anyhow.

We are doing a joint deal. We are going to a local hip bar town about 30 mins away, super trendy, delicious food and tons of bars. There's an underground bar that has a ton of games and couches and a tiki bar, along with like 8 or 9 other random bars. We'll be grabbing dinner, drinking, playing games, dancing and just walking around showing off that we're getting married. It's so simple and perfect for us, since the wedding and honeymoon is huge and annoying (in a good way). Have about 30 of our closest friends joining us for the night out.

I wanted to go on a beach but we ended up going out to eat, doing a swamp tour, bar hopping in our bachelorette shirts and having brunch the next day. We’re ages 27-29. We had fun just doing those things. My girls are pretty funny so anything would’ve been great.

Hi Shelby! I love your plans to eat at a winery, hang, and then have brunch the next morning! That sounds like a lot of fun! Additionally, you all could go for a spa day or sleep over in a hotel suite while playing games and snacking!

We are making it a weekend and just going out of town. I told them something chill. Site seeing, bars/restaurants, shopping, pool side. I don't really care haha. Goal is low stress as I tend to run on the high anxiety side and want no worries.

My MOH asked me where I'd like to go. I chose Palm Springs (I'm from CA, I live in CO now). We are going over Cinco de Mayo, so my MOH is buying Mexican-themed decor and we are having margaritas. We are renting a house with a pool so we can relax during the day and go out at night. I'm taking care of favors for the girls. I'm excited it will be a weekend, so we have time to relax and hangout and talk during the day then we can go out at night too.

Your idea is exactly what I'm doing! 1-2 wineries, dinner, a bar and then I think a few of the girls are staying at my friend's house (I definitely am because FH is having part of his bachelor party at our house lol).

If you want low key though (I definitely did!) some ideas what were batted around before deciding on the winery idea were: sip & paint (or the wood signs), an escape room, comedy club or baseball game.

We're going to Lake George in upstate NY! I don't party at all, I don't stay up very late and my only request was that there needed to be a gym I could use, so they found a resort that has kayaking and water sports, a gym, a winery close by, lots of places for dinner, and a spa. It'll just be a relaxing weekend of hanging out with my girls and lots and lots of food!

Were doing a 3 day glamping trip. There is a place 3 hours from us where you can rent tipi's on the river. You can also rent tree houses and cabins etc. Were just gonna drink, play games, float the river, swim and relax for the weekend.

My MOH is planning but I know she is planning beach days (for the most part) with bike riding and shopping; maybe a boat trip to an island or two. Then for the evenings we are doing a few nights going out for a few drinks, dancing, a really really nice dinner. Then the final night will be a slumber party style. I told her I wanted to be a little more low-key and just be together with my besties Smiley smile

I used to work there! (In Lake George, not in a resort - Girl Scout camp) Its a beautiful town with so much to do - lots of beautiful nature and hikes etc.

I told my MOH that if anything I would like to just rent a site at a public campground (most are around $20 here for a tent site) and pitch a couple tents and just camp out, maybe hike, or swim or boat, definitely cook camp food over a fire and make smores and banana boats and dough boys for breakfast.
