Hi All.
So I want to have a simple bachelorette at a winery including my closest friends. The thing is that I know my future sister in law will be offended if she’s not invited. I really like her so wouldn’t mind if she comes. Here comes the complicated part…her daughter, my future husbands niece is one of these spoiled types who wants to be the center of attention. She is always talking bad behind everyones back. She is 22 so is allowed to go to a winery. I really don’t want her there. I know her mom, FSIL is going to be insulted if her daughter isn’t invited and this may cause problems. What would you do?

I would invite FSIL but not her daughter. She might even appreciate that she gets to have a fun ladies day out without her daughter around. Are you inviting other girls around that age? If not, she probably won't say anything. If you are, you might need an answer for not inviting your future niece. But ultimately, the party is just for ladies you want to be around and have a great time.

Of course: Your cousin will be offended but she needs to understand that it's YOUR bachelorette, it's not about her or her daughter.
Honestly, I would prefer to upset her rather than inviting someone I don't want there, someone who truly cares about you, support you unconditionally respects your wants.

That is unfortunate since it's your event, but I would definitely chose what will make you happy in the end. You want to enjoy your bachelorette party.
Unfortunately I have a similar family situation with my FSIL. However when she is not invited she tends to still show up.
What winery are you guys going to?
