Ok I NEED HELP!!

Let me start off by saying I trust my FH with everything in and I know for certain that he would never do anything to harm me or our relationship! He is a great person who treats me with the utmost respect and love.

With that said...

I am having some BP stress that I would like to put behind me if possible.

I don?t mind if he goes to a strip club or bar. I trust him fully. I don?t trust his friends. As strange as that sounds its completely true.

Ok here it is.. Its kinda long and you can flat out tell me im being a crazy chick LOL?.

His friends:

Mike- Best man, 26 years old, heavy drinker, has a 6 yr old little boy, lives on his own

AJ-23, Smokes weed all day everyday, lives with mommy, has had the same gf for 5 years and hasn?t gone more then 3 months with out cheating on her

Danny- 22, Doesn?t work, living off unemployment and doesn?t care, drinks a lot and revolves his life around poker, also thinks its ok to cheat and doesn?t like me

But the key here is that we are both making conscious decisions to be monogamous. If you want to build a life with this person, you have to trust that or you'll worry yourself sick over it! Yes, I sometimes worry that my FH will be out with his army friends (some who cheat on their wives), drink too much, have some sexy drunk slut throwing herself at him, and him having a moment of weakness. But then I remind myself that I have no reason to NOT trust him, because he hasn't given me one. so until then, I have to let it go.

So anyway, my point is, we all have a right to be a little insecure about trusting our guys...but we just have to hope we got a good one, and that he has a lot of will power even in the most difficult situations...because what is going to happen will happen...whether we worry about it or not. So...let's not worry about it, trust, and hope for the best!

did i make any sense? I might have been off topic and this was on my mind Smiley smile

Lauren, I completely agree that although it's understandable to worry sometimes, in a relationship you ultimately need to trust and then it let go, because you can't keep it from happening and you'll make yourself sick worrying about anything too much.

That being said, it's not only men who are faced with temptations and must make a choice every day to be faithful...women must do the same.

    Wow, Ladies

I have to first off say thank you soooooo much. Laura you confirmed my suspicions about strip clubs, which is a good thing. I don't feel so bad about not wanting him to go to one. I feel tons better. I was starting to feel like i was insane for the way i felt. I do trust him with all my heart. He is amazing. Most guys would turn and run when they found out that i have 5 younger siblings and my mom is married to a woman. Lol! but instead he has taken in my siblings as his own which i cant even describe how much that means. My little brother is 14 and my dad is a dead beat so Randy (FH) has kind of taken him under his wing. He taught him how to shave and play ball and all that manly stuff.

I don't know why im saying all this, other than the fact that i feel like i made him look bad. lol.

Again Thank you soo much. Its been a big help. You ladies are the only ones i get to talk to about the wedding. SERIOUSLY! It means a lot to me!

    ok now im all emotional!

    lol

AWWW Sheena Marie! Big cyber **HUGS** all around you! I don't think you made your Fh look bad so don't feel bad for that! Sounds like you got a great guy there who just happens to have some lousy friends. As you can see, you are not the only one dealing with this kinda stuff! And we all have all kinds of unique "issues" going on in our lives that become even more stressful while planning a big event like a wedding, so we feel for you on that too! I don't get to talk wedding stuff except for on here either so thank goodness it's here for us! I'm sure it will all work out perfectly for you. Keep up the good work! you've come a long way already and we all know some of the stuff you've dealt with already. You're in the home stretch now! Just keep focusing on the love you have with your FH whenever things get tough, that's what works for us

Oh I didn't for a SECOND think you made Randy sound bad! it sounds like you do have a really great guy...and he's a GUY...so that's what I was commenting on.

This is all normal, just don't let it eat you up. It sounds like there are certain levels of strip clubbing...I certainly wouldn't mind my FH going to one and getting a little show...I've been to a few and I think they're fun. Just no touch!!

I also fully expect links to wedding pictures from all you ladies i've gotten to know over the last months!

This may be totally out of the question, and his groomsmen may complain (of course...so what? ;-) ). . .but I just went to a joint bachelor/bachelorette party and it was a BLAST! The couple got to party and have fun with their friends as well as their significant other. You could even go to the strip club together! Just an idea. I know we all had an amazing time.

We had our bachelor and bachelorette parties last night, and it was great!!! i was extremely worried about that too, cause he has some crazy friends!! he understood how i felt so we comprimised(sp?lol) i went out with my girlfriends had our fun while the guys were at his party and bonfire at his friends farm, and then later on in the night, all us girls went down there and met up with the guys to party together!! and let me tell ya, i wouldnt of had it any other way!! we all had a blast. just try to work something out. his friends were my biggest worry too cause they party a lot. but i told them that if they let him do anything that it would thier a*s and not his for letting him do it. and i told him the same thing, that if he did something stupid bc of his friends, then he would be taking some heat too. hope i helped some what. good luck!!

I know I may not be liked after this but I just have to put it out there. Your FH is a grown MAN. He responsible for what he does. This is not a night where he totally donates his body to a bunch of idiots. HE (not you) need to take a stand and if that means not drinking then let HIM make that decision. And no amount of worrying, scheming, or plotting is going to stop him from doing what he really wants to do. He just needs to know that with every action= reaction every cause= effect. Don't stress yourself out on something like this.

Maybe you should also tell him that everybody in his life is not his "friend". A friend would look out for him and try to help preserve your relationship. A friend wouldn't blatantly disrespect you and why is your FH allowing it. I am not trying to start trouble but this is not the first and sure won't be the last you deal with these types of situations.

I pray that ALL goes well for you and your FH.

Well I have to say your not hates (previous poster) I agree with you. After lots of thought and all your ladies help, i did realize that it is in his hands to make the right choices.

I do have to say that i like your idea Angela (I think that who is suggested it) to meet up half way through the night. I just suggested that to Randy and he actually liked the idea! Now if we can get his BM on board.... thats a whole other story. LOL! This would work great if i have a BP. My MOH has been kinda non exsitant during this whole process. I have only seen her once and that was back in December. So I doubt i am going to have a party thrown for me. YEAY! Not! She is also the only one who doesn't have her dress. (she doesn't even know what they look like, or where we are having the wedding, or that i got my dress, or practically anything)

I do feel better about it though. I guess I let his friends habits and morals get in the way of my trust for Randy.
