I love Allison's idea. I think announcing during the ceremony would detract from your vows, but I love the idea of being announced as a family of four! And it could be cute on coasters (or something) to be handed out with drinks once dinner starts. However you do it, you should tell the photographer beforehand so they know to catch the expressions of VIPs.

ETA: I see it's probably too late for coasters or handouts. You could announce it like Beyoncé and after the first dance is over just start rubbing your stomach and wink (that's a joke).

I saw on TV the couple played a video during the reception and that's how they told people. But the family of 4 announcement that Allison suggested sounds perfect....except some people probably won't catch on lol
