Baby After The Wedding?

Erin, on July 5, 2020 at 12:14 AM Posted in Married Life 2 58
My fiancé and I are planning to have a baby after the wedding. Anyone else?! I’m getting anxious because we are almost a month away!

I know some people who had a baby not long after their wedding.
My husband and I are gonna give it a lot of time before we consider having one

We definitely plan on starting a family afterwards but we're just not sure how long after it will. We won't start until we buy a house which we're hoping will be around the time of our wedding next year. We'll just have to wait and see where everything else falls into place. We want to make sure we're as prepared as we can be.

Heck no. I want to enjoy at least one year being married to my husband and travel and do the hockey pokey without any interruptions.

Lol I love this! He also wants to wait and travel out of the county due to our honeymoon getting cancelled but I don’t want to wait 🤣.

Yes, because of mine and my FH ages we want to start a family. I totally get it. I had a friend who got married last August and she got pregnant within 2 months of being married, she just had a baby girl.

We gave it about 5 months before TTC.

It's really all about how you feel, and what you two want. Each couple is different!

We were going to start after the wedding, but then COVID happened. At the time there wasn’t sufficient data for our doctor to give us a clear to start, but we got the green light and will be trying soon Smiley smile

We plan to try after the wedding as well in 3 months! I’m nervous because I’ve never been pregnant, so obvious worries like will I be able to get pregnant? Will it take me months/ years?? Or who knows it may happen right away! So yes excited yet nervous for all of the what ifs.

My husband and I immediately started trying to have a baby after we got married. Unfortunately after coming off birth control, I didn't have my period for months. I had to go on meds that would make me have my period then meds that would make me ovulate. I was diagnosed a couple of months ago with PCOS which makes conceiving more difficult. As of two months ago, I'm finally getting my period on my own so now I don't have to take the medication that brings on a period. My doctor has told us to continue trying for six months while on the ovulation medication and if that doesn't work I will have to see a fertility specialist.

Waiting until we have a house. I really want to have a house before we have kids. Has PP said I have condition that makes fertility an issue so I’m hoping we can have our babies once the house is here ! But luckily we both are open to adoption

Japan is definitely on my bucket list! So pretty! I feel you on being able to experience the food too. I always look forward to trying different foods when I travel! Not being able to would be a bummer!
