Azazie Custom Sizing length with heels?

I'm about to order a bridesmaid dress from Azazie for a wedding I'm in later this year. I'm doing the custom measurements but I'm at the last step where it asks for extra length. I plan on wearing heels, probably just 3 inches, and I'm not sure if I want to add extra length. Part of why I am doing custom is so I can cut costs with alterations as I'm in another wedding this year AND my own. I've done some reading and it seems like people say even the customized dresses are still always longer?

Does anyone have experience with customization and azazie and the length? Did you have to hem it, or did you have to order extra length, etc? If you have any idea about good measurements - my hollow to floor was 49.5 and my total height is 61.

My sister has done the custom fit for azazie twice and she has still needed alterations both times. Small adjustments like getting sleeves to lay correctly and hemming.

Two of my bridesmaids got custom Azazie dresses. They each added 2 inches to be safe. One is wearing hers as it is since she’s wearing wedges. The other I believe is hemming hers to be an inch shorter so she won’t have to wear any heel. From their experiences I would say the length is pretty true to size, so I would order extra length to accommodate any heels but otherwise just leave it as is.

I'd call customer service and ask. I'm nearly certain they add a couple inches for shoe height to the length. All of daughter's 5 BMs did custom-sizing, and most ended up wearing slightly taller heels than they preferred because dresses were a little longer than they expected. (Otherwise, they all loved their Azazie purchases, so it's a minor thing.)

Hey there Emily!
I can totally understand why you’re trying to keep costs down. That is a lot of weddings, including planning your own!!
As the PP advised, I would also recommend you reach out to the Azazie customer service and see if they can offer you some insights on the length and what they recommend you do to avoid having to get it altered.
