Hey guys I'm a budget bride I'm generally a tomboy I never wear dresses ever and I wear mostly loose clothes bc of my 7 year history of anorexia my fiance has finally helped me over the past 5 years recover from. I so want to wear a more fitted dress for the wedding for him when I never wear dresses I'm obsessed with the rue de Seine avril dress it's the one I've just been unable to get out of my mind and I feel I could maybe feel confident wearing. but it's super pricey so if anyone is looking to sell used I would be forever appreciative I get so much anxiety trying on dresses bc of my past were 9 months out everyone keeps asking about the dress and I haven't been able to bring myself to deal with the dressing room mirrors or trying things on I'm honestly worried I'll end up with a rack dress bc I'll put it off till the last minute possible and just hate my dress

Girl, you did not wait until the last minute!!!we got engaged and decided to get married in about 7 months, so I thought I was last minute. But really, you have plenty of time to find something that you will love and that will make you feel beautiful. I got mine from David's Bridal, and it came in in two weeks. And I'm sure salons will tell you that you have time.

If you would rather skip trying things on, you have options. Check Azazie - they have try on at home options you can have delivered to your place. You may also check stillwhite.com and poshmark to see if you can get the dress you're loving used. Point is, you have plenty of options!

My first dress took 3 weeks to come in, and my new dress will take about the same amount of time. If you’re worried about timing, ask about how long it’ll take to come in when you’re trying them on and stick with ones that won’t take a long time (I.e months). There are plenty of options Smiley smile. I got mine at David’s Bridal.

You will find a dress! Just make sure to bring people that will hype you up. The David's bridal I went to didn't have mirrors in the dressing rooms, so everyone could see what dresses looked like on me before I did. This might be a good idea because everyone could hype you up before you get in your own head and see it.
Also, rack dresses can be gorgeous too! Some are only sold off the rack because they were sample dresses that are no longer being sold. My dress is a 2011 and I'm very happy with it. You'll have plenty of options!
