I have NO idea how much to budget towards flowers??

I am planning a blush/greenery wedding so I would love the flowers to be the main aspect of the wedding with big unruly bouquets and the main aspect of the tablescape to be flowers whether it be a garland if we have longer tables or circular if we end up with round tables.

I would also need 7 bridesmaids bouquets and a bridal bouquet which I plan to reuse at the top table. Also we would want to do both corners of our wedding arch.

I have attached photos to help put images to words, but still stumped on the cost.

I paid roughly 1000 and I had 4 bouquets, 8 mothers/grandmothers corsages, 14 boutonnieres, ceremony decor and reception centerpieces. Keep in mind I am from a teeny tiny town in the south. I used a ton of greenery, roses, hydrangeas, etc! I think 1-3 is a good budget, but don't be shocked if you go over!!

Our cost came in at $4000. We decided against the flower petals for the ceremony and now we're down to $3100.

You should figure out what you want first. Try to get flowers in season. Any flowers shipped from Hawaii or South America will cost you double.

A centerpiece can cost $30 or $300. It all depends. We budgeted for $2000 for everything So I picked out our florist and said, "I only have 2grand for everything. Can you help me?" The answer was yes, and between us two, I'll get what I want in my budget.

I am doing something very similar for my wedding, I think the price really depends on where you live. I live near Orlando, FL and the average quote I received was about $2700. My neighbor owns a small floral design company and she quoted me $1,700. I would suggest looking at smaller/ or new business to get a good price, look into places located near your venue to avoid travel fees, and definitely ask for suggestions on the local WW forums.

I'm going to say for that about $1800 - 2000

My floral contract is for $1700 (with delivery send set up)which includes:

    Gazebo and aisle decor

Cascading orchid bouquet and tossing bouquet

    MOH bouquet

    4 tall centerpieces

    3 short centerpices

    MOB corsage

2 tall statement centerpieces for ceremony

    Petals for cake table

6 Manzanita trees with crystal drapping for cocktail tables

***To save a bit, im doing my own short centerpieces and clusters of flower inside wine bottles for the placecard, guest sign in and donut/cookie table***

I feel ya!! I even made the mistake on browsing some florists on Wedding Wire recently and their ranges for San Diego were significantly less than what I had paid... -__-

I keep trying to tell myself to not do that again lol I love what I have though!

My Fiance and I have a very similar picture board as you! We are having a blush wedding as well! We got two different quotes from florists, one quoted us $2,179.02 and the other quoted us $1,260. I would suggest going with a florist who will work with you and your budget! Most florist will make suggestions on similar flowers for less money! Good luck!

I agree with some people on here that it is difficult to get a price, but I can shed some light on what mine cost for almost an identical set up as yours!

    Colors: Blush, ivory, and greenery

    Bridal bouquet: $100

Bridesmaid bouquet: $30 each (only using hydrangeas and greenery to save cost)

    Boutonnieres: $8-$10 a piece

    Corsages: $50 a piece

    Cake Flowers: $20

Head Table Garland: $125 (this is for greenery only, the bridesmaids will use their bouquets to add flowers to the head table only)

    Arch Swags: $150

I hope this helps! Again, it will depend on what flowers you pick because some may be in or out of season.

It really depends on where you are, what you want and who you use.

Had I went with a big company here, I was at 1400. I ended up going to a woman, who was countlessly recommended, who does flowers because she loves them & paid HALF.

Don't feel ripped off. I am sure your investment will result in a gorgeous look for your reception. Also remember, service goes a long way. Do ask them to do a small sample of what your centerpiece will look like. This way if you want to make any changes you can. They should include that in the price.

My flowers are costing around $1200 in Western Iowa. My flowers include calla lilies, orchids, lisianthhus, and lavender. My bouquet will be a cascade style and is the most expensive single flower item we're getting . Other than that we're getting our 7 bridesmaid bouquets, 13 corsages, 24 boutonnieres, 2 flower crowns for my flower girls, fake orchid headpieces for my bridesmaids, and a single altar arrangement. We are also getting 2 extra bridesmaid bouquets to take to our grandmothers graves after our rehearsal.

I'm planning to get mine from Fifty Flowers and arrange them all the day before with my BP and mom. For 48 centerpieces (each long table will have 2 on them), my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 4 wrist corsages (moms and grandmas), a flower crown, some flowers on the arch, and 9 bouts (groom, groomsmen, fathers, grandfathers), we're probably spending around $1200 not including floral supplies and vases (I got all the vases from DollarTree.com for $48!). I knew we wanted a lot of flowers, so going this route versus with a florist is the only way they are going to be affordable for us. Plus, I'm really excited to arrange them.

I am purchasing all my flowers from Sam's Club. I am getting bridal bouquet, 2 BM bouquets, 2 wrist corsages for our moms and boutonnieres for the groom, 2 GM, and our dads, plus some bulk flowers for decorating for around $300. Thought that was pretty reasonable. They also have centerpieces for good prices, I just don't need them. I also liked that the bouquets come already wrapped on ribbon, I am willing to do some stuff on my own, but not making bouquets and boutonnieres!
