Aveda for Bridal Party Hair and Makeup

No, but my FH's step-mom gave me a $100 gift card for Christmas and I though about using it towards a trial or something.

I contacted them today and they seemed very accommodating. They will be getting back to me early next week with an estimate for my party. I will share when I receive it.

One thing I am concerned about is how their makeup will photograph, as I'm under the impression that it is mostly mineral.

To be honest, I've never heard of Aveda. What general area are they from/located?

I thought Aveda was nationwide as well as international.

**I Googled it and they have 2,905 locations in the US alone. We have 3 or 4 salons in my city. I'm in South Carolina.

So, I looked at the website for the Wisteria/Aveda salon near where I work and their prices are VERY reasonable. They having a package that includes TWO hair/makeup sessions (one for your trial one for wedding day), an express manicure and pedicure for your wedding day and you get a complimentary lip color to take home with you $275. Add-on shellac polish for an additional $20

Just the bridal hair/makeup trial is $50...much better than what I have been quoted elsewhere.

Now, I just need to know if the makeup would where well since it is mineral/plant based.

We have one here. I don't know students always scare me. I know every one has to learn and be taught to be great, but I don't want you learning on me. Our locations are mostly students.

I did ask about about airbrushing too. The woman I spoke to told me it was a possibility if one of their specialty salons was willing to coordinate with them. I should have all that information by Monday. I am still very nervous about the wear, especially due to my wedding being in the summer.
