This post is mainly for my fellow autistic brides. :3So when I was 17 I got diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (or technically High Functioning Autism, guess Asperger's Syndrome isn't politically correct anymore..?) And something that my family and I expect to happen is for me to get elevated. For those who don't know what I mean by that term it is basically one step passed overwhelmed. It is not always because of a bad thing. I am overwhelmed with wedding planning and student teaching always but I feel normal. When I get elevated my eyes try pop out of my head because they're open so wide and I feel like spider man. Like every sense is heightened. Some people don't feel the same thing as me, my mom when elevated feels like a million bees are buzzing inside of her. When I feel myself getting elevated or am already elevated I usually fidget with a charm bracelet. I have a Disney charm bracelet I've had for years I fidget with (but the charms fall off so easy :'( ) or recently my dad got me a Phantom of the Opera one. So for my wedding day...I NEED A FIDGET. I am not sure if I want a charm bracelet because of 1) style of dress 2) I have long sleeves and I don't want something getting snagged. I am more than happy to press my forehead to my fiancé's forehead or shoulder when needed (I do that too when I'm elevated, I say I'm charging, it does help lol). Attaching a picture below of me at my final alteration so you guys get a feel for the dress and what I'm trying to figure out. Any and all help appreciated. Smiley heart

My fiance and I both have autism plus I have ADHD and he has bipolar. I got diagnosed when I was 3 so a lot younger. I will say my executive functioning really sucks so planning is pretty overwhelming. I often have all of these ideas, but I have a hard time thinking them through or realize what it takes to execute them, not to mention I tend to be very forgetful. I am hoping I find a wedding planner at one of the bridal shows I go to these coming months because I am going to have a hard time keeping track of things lol.

    Good luck!

They have fidget rings that help my sister out when she is over stimulated.
