At-home Reception Save the Date

Hi!

I haven't been able to find anything so far, but as was suggested here, we are planning to send STDs for our at-home wedding reception/party following our destination wedding.

Does anyone have wording for this?

Background: Due to my work scheduling, the wedding is in Feb, but the bridal shower has to be in September. I was advised/don't want to invite people to a shower when they have not been notified of the at-home reception. The at-home reception is in July (2020) due to scheduling and weather.

Also a note: the only people being invited to the bridal shower are those being invited to the at-home reception, as these are my parents' friends and my very large extended family, who all live relatively near my parents. I live in a different state, as do nearly all of my friends. (We're getting married in Hawaii, howver).

Are you sending out the STD's before your Hawaii wedding? I've picked up from your message that you are, please let me know if I'm wrong!
Something to the effect of what Caytlyn shared will be perfect!
You could have a title on the STD such as "Happily Ever After Party", with details underneath about your intentions to marry in a intimate ceremony in Hawaii and would love for them to come to your at home reception in July 2020!
