Asking your bridemaids

We just asked.

I texted them individually first to make sure the time & budget was okay for them. Then I sent proposal boxes after they had said yes, they were jewelry boxes with liquor shooters & nail polish & hair ties!

Bridesmaid/MOH proposal

I had a card made for my MOH and bridesmaid and had a personalized message inside as to why I was asking them to stand up with me. One of my bridesmaid's backed out, so I asked my best male friend (who wasn't already a groomsman) to be my bridesdude... I just did that over the phone and he almost cried :-P

I texted individually heart felts texts. & to much of my surprise they both said yes

Just a phone call. I get very nervous about elaborate proposals, because they may get someone to say yes even if they are reluctant--which can come back to bite you later on.

I texted them. They were thrilled

I asked in person and gave them a card and a mini bottle of sparkling wine. Bottled cold brew for my BM who hates wine.

I asked In person but also gave them each gifts and cards asking in a Disney theme.

My FH asked with personalized shot glasses and little alcohol. The guys seemed to like it and they were easy to put together. I bought these photo cubes that spin at Hobby Lobby and stained them myself. Then added photos on all sides of our years together. My Man of Honor is my brother. I filled the boxes with little wedding themed things that I also found at Hobby Lobby. My brother moved to Chicago (we're from Cleveland) since then and he has his photo box in his room. My other two bridesmaids have theirs around their house that I've seen. In my brothers I also included a note saying how special brothers are and how much it would mean to me for him to stand next to me. It almost made him cry. Overall everyone seemed to like them and I enjoyed putting them together! Bonus: we asked everyone in person

I just asked them if they wanted to be my bridesmaid - simple

I bought a keepsake box at Marshall's and filled it with: a candle, macaroons, a robe with matching tank and shorts, a toy for the flower girl who is her daughter, and a framed picture of us. Then I printed a will you be my MOH sign and hot glue it to the top inside. I only have a MOH. I left it on her bed when I babysat around her birthday.

I asked all of my girls at Christmas with cozy night in themed boxes. In each one I included a monogrammed mug, fuzzy socks, and lots of their favorite snacks and treats. And of course a note.
