Are you wearing your veil at your reception?

Is there a general way people usually do it (keeping it on/taking it off) or is it really just a matter of preference? What are y’all doing?

I plan on wearing a veil for the ceremony and pictures then taking it off for the reception.

It's a matter of preference. I had a fingertip length veil and took it off during the reception. Even a shorter veil can get in the way and get annoying.

It's definitely a preference! Thanks to covid we are now eloping and I plan on wearing my monarch length veil until we go to dinner at our resort. Unless I decide to keep it on at the last minute. A woman's prerogative! It's so pretty I may not want to take it off!

I wore mine for the ceremony and for photos and took it off before we made our entrance into the reception. I had a cathedral length veil so wearing it during the reception wasn't even an option for me, lol.

Definitely preference. I took mine off. It was fingertip length, but my hairdresser had jammed it so far into my scalp it was uncomfortable and kept getting caught on things when I sat down.

I'm taking mine off because it's cathedral length and my mom's and I don't want it to get stepped on all night and ruined! I'll most likely take it off as soon as we're finished with pictures and join cocktail hour.
